The University council holds It’s second meeting for 2020

” On Thursday 05/03/1442H – 22/10/2020, SRU Council second meeting was held, chaired by SRU acting rector Prof. Abdulrahman Almazrou, and attended by Secretary of SRU Council Dr. Abdullah Alsalhi along with deans, dept. heads, and other directors to discuss various academic matters. At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman emphasized on continuing complying with the precaution procedures to maintain the safety of SRU faculty, staff, and students from COVID-19, especially during the on-campus examinations next week. Moreover, the council appreciates the endeavors of teaching faculty in succeeding the online learning. The university council also reviewed other agenda items, including SRU suggested organizational structure, the promotion of some teaching faculty, approving the list of expected SRU graduates (the sixith and seventh batches), and modifying the dean list for the MLS. The Council closes with making several resolutions regarding the remaining agenda items. The council meeting was eventually ended by a note by the chairman wishing everyone more successes. ”
